We manufacture state of the art technology, low loss , high efficiency distribution transformers. These distribution transformers has been designed & produced as per IS standards. The materials are use rigid quality in various stages of production & cleanliness with which all raw materials and production are handled to ensure the best quality and very reliable product.
We have our own state- of - the art manufacturing unit located at Aurangabad. We use the latest technology and we keep upgrading the skill sets of our employees so as to keep them up to date with the latest technologies in use.
All the manufacturing activities like core formation , HV-LV winding , assembly, tanking, ovening,testing , oil filtration etc is done in house & the raw material purchased also goes through severe quality checks throughout the manufacturing process and hence contributes to the quality of the finished products.
Transformer tanks :- Tanks are made from mild steel plates / sheets of adequate thickness and are of welded construction. To provided ample cooling surface, the radiators wherever necessary, are welded to the tanks and entire tank unit is tested under pressure to ensure no leakage of oil in service. The tank and frame parts are specially painted with oil resistance paint for guaranteed durability of M. S. parts.
Cores :- The cores are build from non-ageing scale free, low loss silicon steel laminations of cold rolled grain oriented best grade material. The laminations are insulated from each other by hot oil resisting insulation coating which does not deteriorate with age and under continuous operation in oil at temperatures normally experienced in transformer service.
Windings :- The windings are manufactured from electrolytic high conductivity copper / Aluminium Conductors covering with suitable insulation & normally consists of one or more coils. Windings are designed and manufactured to effectively withstand all electrical, thermal and mechanical stresses experienced in the normal transformer service.
Assembly :- The windings are rigidly clamped between the top and bottom frames through clamping rings and press-board collars and blocks. Additionally each coil is radially and axial press board spacers. All the main lead and tapping leads are kept as short as possible and are completely separated from the main structure by means of insulated cleat bar arrangement.
Terminal arrangement :- Bare terminals through porecelain bushings can be supplied on both HV & LV sides as per the customer's requirements.
Accessories & fittings :- All standard accessories and fittings such as oil level guage, silica-gel breather, earthing terminals, diagram and ratings plates, rollers, filter valve etc are provided.
Testing :- Final testing is carried out as per the specified standards. Following routine tests as per IS norms are carried out.
- Measurement of insulation resistance.
- Measurement of winding resistance.
- Separate source withstand voltage test.
- Induced over-voltage withstand test.
- No load current and losses at service voltage & normal frequency.
- Impedance voltage and load losses at rated current & normal frequency.
- Measurement of voltage ratio & vector group relationship.
- Oil dielectric test.
- Magnetic balance test.
